一、活動簡介Program Introduction

• 本校姊妹校—熊本大學將於 2026年10月20日至23日舉辦 Kumamoto–Taiwan Students Summit 2026，邀請本院學生共同參與國際交流活動。
• 熊本大學將補助參與學生之來回機票、住宿及活動期間交通費用。(※ 個人餐費、旅遊保險、護照及簽證申辦等相關費用需由學生自行負擔。)
• Kumamoto University will host the Kumamoto–Taiwan Students Summit 2026 from October 20 to October 23, 2026, and invites students to participate in this international exchange program.
• Kumamoto University will provide financial support for participants’ round-trip airfare, accommodation, and transportation expenses during the program. (Please note that personal meal expenses, travel insurance, passport application fees, visa-related expenses, and other personal costs shall be borne by the participants.)

地點：日本熊本大學（Kumamoto University）

三、申請資格Eligibility

• 歡迎對半導體相關研究或應用領域有興趣之本院學生提出申請。

Students from the College who are interested in semiconductor-related research or application fields are welcome to apply.

• 申請者須配合活動期間全程參與，並具備英語溝通能力及團隊合作精神。

Applicants are required to participate in the entire program and possess English communication skills as well as a spirit of teamwork.

四、申請應繳資料Required Application Documents

(請依下列順序由上而下排列，勿另加封面，相關資料請用A4紙影印提供。Please arrange the application documents in the order listed below. Do not include a cover page. All supporting documents should be submitted as A4-sized.)

1. CoSR Application Form for Kumamoto-Taiwan Students Summit 2026
2. Information from of Kumamoto University
3. Published paper(s) related to the topic "How will semiconductors shape the future over the next 20 years?" (must be related to semiconductors)
4. Copy of Passport (Photo Page)
5. Portrait Photo( JPEG or PNG）
6. English Proficiency Certificate (Optional; Additional Consideration for Selection): CEFR B2 level or above (e.g., TOEFL iBT 80, TOEIC 850, IELTS 6.5, or equivalent)

五、申請期限Application Deadline

📅 即日起至2026年7月2日（星期四）中午12:00前 From now on to 12:00 PM, July 2, 2026 (Thu.)

請於截止時間前備妥所有書面申請資料於申請截止日送至院辦 林珮薇小姐(分機42481)，逾期恕不受理。

Please prepare all required hard-copy application documents and submit them to Ms. Lin at the College Office (Extension 42481) by the application deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

六、注意事項Notes

• 本活動辦理期間為學期中（10月20日至23日），申請前請務必與指導教授充分討論，並自行評估課業及研究進度安排。
• 錄取學生將與臺灣及日本各校學生組成國際團隊，共同參與討論及成果發表。
• 主辦單位保留活動內容及行程調整之權利。
• 遞交申請僅代表完成申請流程，錄取與否須待學院審核後，以信件告知錄取學生，不錄取者則不另行通知。
• The program will be held during the academic semester (October 20–23). Applicants are advised to discuss participation with their academic advisor and carefully assess their coursework and research schedules before applying.
• Selected students will form international teams with students from Taiwan and Japan to participate in discussions and final presentations.
• The organizer reserves the right to adjust the program content and schedule when necessary.
