Course Requirements Guidelines for Dual Degree Graduate Students
(College of Semiconductor Research, NTHU)
一、適用對象 Applicability
本修讀指引適用於修讀國立清華大學半導體研究學院(以下簡稱本院)與境外大學辦理之雙聯學制碩士班及博士班研究生。
These guidelines apply to dual-degree Master’s and PhD students enrolled in the College of Semiconductor Research(CoSR), National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), in collaboration with partner overseas universities.
二、雙聯碩士生修課規定 Dual Master’s Degree Requirements
(一)畢業總學分 Total Graduation Credits
雙聯碩士生入學前，應檢具「已修課程及預計修課清單」，提送指導教授及各部主任審查，以確認修課規劃符合畢業總學分29學分之規定。
Before enrollment, dual-degree Master’s students must submit a list of completed and planned courses for review by the advisor and department head to confirm compliance with the 29-credit graduation requirement.
(二)修課規定（至少 10 學分）
Dual-degree Master’s students must complete at least 10 credits at the CoSR, as follows:
1. 學術研究倫理課程（0 學分）｜Research Ethics Requirement (0 credits)
須於入學第一學年結束前修習本課程，測驗成績達及格標準；未通過者，最遲須於申請學位口試前，修習完成並通過「國立清華大學學術研究倫理教育課程」。
Students must complete this course and pass the assessment by the end of their first academic year of enrollment. Those who do not pass must complete and pass the NTHU Academic Research Ethics Education Course no later than before applying for the degree oral examination.
2. 通才必修課程（6 學分）｜Core Courses (6 credits)
- 依所屬部門規定修讀。Courses shall be taken in accordance with the regulations of the student’s affiliated department.
- 曾修過導論或相似課程者，經申請審查通過後，得免修導論課程，並以專業選修學分補足。Courses shall be taken in accordance with the regulations of the student’s affiliated department.
3. 專業必選修課程（4 學分）｜Department Required Courses (4 credits)
- 依各部課程規劃表修讀，不得抵免。Courses shall be taken in accordance with the regulations of the student’s affiliated department.
4. 修課時程與成績 Course Completion & Academic Performance
- 須於在本院就讀之第二學期結束前完成。All required courses must be completed by the end of the student’s second semester of study at the CoSR.
- 各科成績須達 B-（70 分）以上。A minimum grade of B- (70/100) is required for each course
三、雙聯博士生修課規定 Dual PhD Degree Requirements
(一)畢業總學分 Total Graduation Credits
雙聯博士生入學前，應檢具「已修課程及預計修課清單」，提送指導教授及各部主任審查，以確認修課規劃符合畢業總學分23學分之規定。
Before enrollment, dual-degree PhD students must submit a list of completed and planned courses for review to ensure compliance with the 23-credit graduation requirement.
(二)修課規定（至少 8 學分）
Dual-degree PhD students must complete at least 8 credits at the CoSR, as follows:
1. 學術研究倫理課程（0 學分）｜Research Ethics Requirement (0 credits)
須於入學第一學年結束前修習本課程，測驗成績達及格標準；未通過者，最遲須於申請學位口試前，修習完成並通過「國立清華大學學術研究倫理教育課程」。
Students must complete this course and pass the assessment by the end of their first academic year of enrollment. Those who do not pass must complete and pass the NTHU Academic Research Ethics Education Course no later than before applying for the degree oral examination.
2. 個別審定制（8 學分）｜Individual Review-Based Planning (8 credits)
- 學生入學時提供「已修及預計修課清單」，再由指導教授與部主任個別審定，給予學生個別化之修課規劃。Upon enrollment, students must submit a list of completed and planned courses, which will be individually reviewed and approved by the academic advisor and the department head to establish a personalized study plan.
3. 修課時程與成績 Course Completion & Academic Performance
- 須於在本院就讀之第三學期結束前完成。All required courses must be completed by the end of the student’s third semester of study at the CoSR.
- 各科成績須達 B-（70 分）以上。A minimum grade of B- (70/100) is required for each course
四、適用範圍與疑義認定 Interpretation Authority
本修讀指引之適用如有疑義，得經本院相關會議審議認定；必要時，依校內相關規定辦理。
If there is any uncertainty regarding the applicability of these study guidelines, it shall be reviewed and determined through the relevant College meetings; where necessary, it will be handled in accordance with the University’s applicable regulations.
